Mission Statement

Named after the frugivore, a fruit-eating animal, Frugi was founded on a simple premise: to offer a wide variety of premium E-Liquids free of Propylene Glycol (PG) catering to those who otherwise wouldn’t be able to vape due to a PG allergy, intolerance, or sensitivity, or because of their dietary requirements or preferences.

We give choice to vapers who would otherwise have none.

Our Story

Frugi’s founder was a long-time smoker who switched to vaping to help him quit, as more and more smokers are doing every day. But in time, he noticed he wasn’t having the best reaction to his vape—he experienced coughing, skin reactions, and headaches, all because he just wanted to quit smoking cigarettes.

When he discovered it was a PG intolerance that was causing his issue, he was baffled to find that there were few to no 100% PG-Free E-Liquid brands manufactured here in the UK, so he decided to change that. To make the switch easier for himself and for vapers like him, he founded Frugi to make PG-Free E-Liquids more accessible for everyone. Think of Frugi as the “Free From” purveyor of E-Liquids in the UK.

Researchers currently don’t know how many people have this kind of sensitivity, but they estimate that prevalence ranges somewhere between 1% and 4%. That’s a lot of smokers who wouldn’t be able to make the switch without PG-Free E-Liquids available.

And it’s not just the PG-allergic who benefit from Frugi: our founder wanted to make E-Liquids accessible to everyone who might have concerns about the ingredients in their vape juices. Vegans, vegetarians, and fans of the organic lifestyle can now vape guilt-free with Frugi’s diverse range of shortfills.
